Rising “rock popera” artist and North Carolina native, Mad Gallica, announces a limited run of curated live performances in her upcoming debut tour, The Vortex Awakens, marking her first tour of 2026. The Southeast-routed run will bring her immersive live experience to major cities in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, with additional dates to be announced later this year. The Vortex Awakens introduces audiences to Mad Gallica’s rapidly expanding universe, one that has already proven its impact with a successful, high-energy debut show at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre in 2025.
Mad Gallica has graced some of the world’s biggest stages as former longtime touring keyboardist and backing vocalist for the Grammy award-winning Swedish hard rock band Ghost, as well as being featured in Ghost’s 2024 smash hit, Top 10 global box office film, “Rite Here Rite Now.”
“Everything I’ve worked for over the years has led to this moment,” she says. “Our tour showcases a more rock-forward sound and a world we’ve built from the ground up—complete with Emmy-level set design, costumes, and surprise theatrical moments that invite the audience to become part of the experience. Following this dream and watching it come to life has been beyond anything I imagined. The positive fan reactions remind me why I started: to build worlds, deeply connect, and to share something transformative together.”
Mad Gallica’s debut concept EP, “Enter The Vortex: Act One” (2024), was recorded with a symphony in Prague and showcases her genre-bending sound—cinematic, high-energy and vocally commanding. Her music draws comparisons to Muse, Nightwish, and Lady Gaga, combining classical elements with a modern rock edge. Her latest singles, “Cat in a Bag” and “Human Hand,” further expand the sonic rock-forward scope of the project.
Mad Gallica’s shows are immersive journeys, inviting the audience to explore the beyond within themselves. Every note, costume, and lyric encourages their audience to embrace their MADness and uncover the extraordinary, beautiful creatures they are, expressing and celebrating their truest, most authentic selves. Through visuals, elaborate costumes and emotionally-charged music powered by her five-piece band, she transports audiences into a fully realized universe. With a growing, devoted six figure fanbase, she’s building an entire world of lore and personal exploration that welcomes new listeners to enter The Vortex.
