Youth Ambassadors of Service: By Youth, For Youth. Building the Pipeline of Service-Minded Leaders. The nonprofit Youth Ambassadors of Service (YAS), is an organization that teaches high schoolers how to get involved in the nonprofit sector and find a lifelong passion for service. On Sat May 18th at Raleigh Founded from 12 pm – 2 pm, YAS hosts its annual razzle-dazzle “Impact Showcase,” a mind-blowing display of the impactful and impressive successes these high schoolers have had through their internships with various local nonprofits*. From peer mentorship and learning valuable business leadership skills, to creating fundraisers and organizing events, these empowered young leaders create positive change in partnership with Raleigh charities. You are welcome to drop by and see the impact of these students.
