Activities for children, live performances, and a concert by a nationally recognized opera singer about Anne Wiggins Brown, the first Bess in ‘Porgy and Bess’, who was born and raised in Old West Baltimore.
The finale of the event is a singing competition for the public! Prizes for the best under 18, Adult, over 60, and audience favorite! There will be food trucks outside, and a DJ spinning at the top of the entryway steps to welcome the community into the Block Party.
