Full Cord
For the past 17 years, Michigan based bluegrass band, Full Cord has been making a name for themselves blending traditional bluegrass music in which they are deeply rooted with jazz, western swing, and classic rock n’ roll while keeping the traditional bluegrass feel alive and well. These influences make every performance memorable and unique. Following a ‘22 win at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival competition and the ‘22 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Momentum Band of The Year, this band has been hot on the touring trail nationwide. Hold on to your hats when these folks hit the stage – they are bringing their version of the bluegrass train full steam ahead.

Joe Wais (The MilBillies) and Jordan Kroeger (Chicken Wire Empire) combine in a bombastic duo of Milwaukee bluegrass royalty.  Their respective hardcore, hard-picking styles melt together in a vibrant fireworks display of what the city of Milwaukee and the great state of Wisconsin have to offer the bluegrass scene.  After five years of duo performances together, resulting in a weekly series called “Bluegrass Whatevers,” and a whole new band called “Sugar Bush,” the pair has worked hard to foster a bluegrass community in a region that is otherwise not known for the genre.
