There are three traits that describe every color: hue, value and chroma. Hue are the color families – the rainbow. Value means light or dark with Zero being black and Ten being pure white. Chroma is the strength or saturation of a color – it’s intensity, it’s purity.
Gallery C brings two artists who work is Maximum Chroma. Ana Guzman is a painter and George Snyder a sculptor. This exhibition explores how these two artists’ energic and bold use of color creates alluring artworks that engage and stimulate the viewer.
